Description
Turkey hunters love Federal’s Grand Slam ammunition! Turkeys themselves, on the other hand, could live without it. This huge 10 Gauge shotshell puts Federal’s best components to work so you can crush gobblers at long range.
This shell’s #5 shot is made of good old-fashioned affordable lead, but with two key performance-enhancing additions. The shot pellets are plated with copper, which hardens and protects them against the degree of deformation that make dense patterns impossible; copper-plated shot also stays round on impact to transfer huge energy while penetrating deeply. The shot column is also packed with advanced buffering compound for even greater protection against deformation.
This shell also features Federal’s FliteControl Flex. Compatible with standard and ported turkey chokes alike, this high-tech wads erects fins at its base to stabilize the shot column and features side vents to promote cleaner separation from it.
This turkey-busting shell puts Federal’s usual fine powder and primer to good work, and its hull is reloadable. Federal donates a portion of the proceeds from their Grand Slam ammo line to the National Wild Turkey Federation.
