12 Gauge – 2-3/4″ 1-1/4oz. BBB Steel Shot – Federal Classic Steel – 250 Rounds

Description

Federal’s Classic Steel line of ammunition is an old favorite of waterfowl hunters across the country. Chamber one of these hunting law compliant 12 Gauge shells in your favorite goose gun and soon you will have all the geese you need!

This shell is loaded with 1-1/4 ounces of BBB shot. It’s just one one-hundredth of an inch wider in diameter than the more common BB shot, so its pattern and terminal performance isn’t different. Although it’s not exceptionally long at 2-3/4”, this shell still packs a whopping 69 pellets to deliver a denser pattern.

This shell’s muzzle velocity is not extreme – at only 1,275 fps it won’t offer the same effective range as a high-velocity magnum shell, although its recoil is going to be much more palatable. Federal’s round steel shot pellets create a really dense spread thanks to the Classic Steel wad, which is full-length to prevent abrasion to your shotgun’s bore.

This ammo is non-corrosive, with fast and clean burning powder to promote consistent muzzle velocities and reduced fouling. Reloadable hulls are a must for anyone who wants to get as much mileage out of their ammo as possible!
