Description
There’s a dilemma when it comes to antique firearms: If you no longer fire them, are they still technically firearms? But you don’t have to get philosophical with your old shotgun when you’ve got Hevi-Shot’s Classic Doubles line of ammunition. You can just go ahead and use the thing!
This 12 Gauge shotshell is designed to treat vintage shotguns with the gentleness they deserve. It’s loaded to a lower pressure that won’t harm an older chamber, and which has the added benefit of reducing felt recoil. This shell’s #7 shot is made of an alloy that includes tungsten, nickel and iron, so it’s at once non-toxic and 26 percent denser than steel. It’s also got the softness of lead, so it won’t damage your old gun’s barrel or fixed choke.
This shell’s shot patterns densely thanks to its granulated buffering material, nano-treated pellets and effective polymer wad. Hevi-Shot’s primers and powder are both optimized to eliminate corrosive fouling within an antique shotgun, so you can enjoy peace of mind whether you want to bring your heirloom to the range or the field.
