Why is Federal’s Speed-Shok line of ammunition so popular for hunting ducks and geese? Because speed kills! This 12 Gauge shell is loaded to a hyper fast muzzle velocity of 1,450 fps – and for good reason. Steel shot doesn’t have as much density as lead shot, but a shell that accelerates it to such breakneck speeds does an awesome job compensating for the nontoxic metal’s shortcoming.
This shell is loaded with BB shot, which is a stellar choice for hunting geese as well as pass shooting ducks. Pattern your waterfowl gun correctly and Federal’s intensely concentric shot will offer the tight pattern and crushing downrange energy you need to send Daffy and his pals hurtling back down to earth.
Federal loads this 3” shell with a high performance primer that sparks up to create complete and consistent ignition, as well as special powder that leaves surprising little residue behind inside the action and barrel.
